I. The Information Contrad may collect and how it will be used

A) PERSONAL DATA
Most of our services do not require any form of registration, allowing you to visit our site without the need to provide us with your personal data. Contrad collects personal data (information that can be used to identify you, such as name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address) only when it is asked for and/or you voluntarily submit it to us on this Site. We may use your personal data to respond to your requests; improve our level of service and the content of our Site; provide you with helpful information, product news, and updates; notify you of new Contrad products and services; seek your views on our products and services; and for our own internal purposes. Contrad also collects data that does not identify you directly, but which offers some information about your interests and activities that could be used to make inferences about you and, in some cases, identify you indirectly:

a) COOKIES
Contrad web sites may use “cookies” – small text files that are placed on your computer by a web server. Cookies help provide additional functionality to the Site or analyse usage of the Site more accurately. For instance, a web server may set a cookie that remembers your computer so that any special settings or preferences you select may be retained when you revisit the Site. Contrad does not directly link cookies with personal data that you may submit.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored, if you prefer. Please refer to your web browser’s instructions or help screen to learn more about these functions. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of this Site. Our Site may use “web beacons” – small strings of programming code that deliver a graphic image on a web page or e-mail message for the purposes of transferring data back to us. Web beacons may be used to allow Contrad, or third parties acting on behalf of Contrad, to communicate with cookies stored on your computer. The information collected via web beacons may also contain IP addresses, described below, as well as information concerning how a visitor responds to an e-mail message (such as, the time the e-mail is opened). Contrad may use information collected through web beacons for a variety of purposes, including, but not limited to, site traffic reporting, unique visitor counts, and content optimization.

An IP address is a set of numbers that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you log on to your Internet Service Provider or through your organization’s local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN). When you log on to a web site, your computer is automatically identified by the IP address assigned to it.
Contrad, or third party companies acting on behalf of Contrad, may collect IP addresses for the purposes of maintaining communications with visitors as they move about the Site and enhancing their user experience. We do not ordinarily use this information to develop a personal profile of our visitors and the log files are regularly purged. Therefore, each visit to this Site will be logged, but the visitor normally remains anonymous to us.

B) NON-PERSONAL DATA
Contrad also collects non-personal data and uses them in aggregate form to track data such as the total number of visits to our web sites, the number of visitors to each page of our web sites, and the domain names of our visitors’ Internet Service Providers. We use this information to understand how our visitors use our Site so that we may improve it and the services we offer.
